Course Goal / Objective

To develop the ability of the engineering student to understand the basic strength concept, the strength principles of materials, the design problems that need to be solved in the design of machinery and its components, and to apply the basic principles to the solution of strength problems.

INTRODUCTION TO STRENGTH, TENSION AND FORCE, POISSON RATIO AND THERMAL EXPANSION, PRESSURE VESSELS AND VOLTAGE CONDENSATION, BOLT AND WELDED JOINTS, FIELD FEATURES, CIRCULAR SHAFTS, TORQUES, DIFFERENCES, DIFFERENCES, DIVISIONS, FRINGS AS INVISIBLE BEAM, BEND OF COLUMNS, Stress and Stress Visualization
