Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to inform prospective teachers who will work in K-12 classes about valid and reliable measurement and evaluation tools, and to provide them with the ability to prepare, apply and evaluate measurement tools that will guide their instructional decisions.

Course Content

This course covers the importance of measurement and evaluation in education, the basic concepts of measurement and evaluation, the validity, reliability and usefulness of measurement tools, traditional and alternative measurement tools, and simple statistical operations on measurement results.
