Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide the necessary background for: 1. demonstrating an understanding of basic concepts involved in positive psychology. 2. Accruing knowledge about the scientific methods used to study subjective well-being. 3. helping students understand and use of positive psychology on psychological counseling and guidance context.

Course Content

This course focuses on this latter development by examining scientific research centered on the nature of happiness and psychological well-being. Topics include the nature and measurement of subjective and psychological well-being, life satisfaction, resilience, hope, flow, optimism, life of meaning and purpose, gratitude and emotional intelligence. relationships.
