Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to enable students to learn basic concepts in psychological counseling and guidance, the meaning of guidance, the purpose and principles of guidance, guidance and education, guidance and other fields, the development of guidance and psychological counseling, psychological counseling and guidance services; types of services in psychological counseling and guidance, educational guidance, vocational guidance, individual and group psychological counseling, psychological counseling and guidance techniques, the roles and functions of psychological counselors, legal regulations regarding psychological counseling and guidance practices, the problems of psychological counseling and guidance, and the basic concepts related to psychological counseling and guidance.
Course Content
In the course content, basic concepts in psychological counseling and guidance, the meaning of guidance, the purpose of guidance, principles of guidance, guidance and education, guidance and other fields, development of guidance and psychological counseling, psychological counseling and guidance services; Psychological counseling and guidance types of services, educational guidance, vocational guidance, individual and group psychological counseling, psychological counseling and guidance techniques, the roles and functions of psychological counselors, legal regulations regarding counseling and guidance practices are problems of counseling and counseling.
