Course Goal / Objective

To understand the tectonic events and forces that plays an important role in shaping the earths crust and to understand the effects of forces on the rocks. In this concept, to gain the ability of interpretation of the structural elements formed in the nature. To gain the knowledge about plate movements and formation of earthquakes on the earths crust. To provide the students better understand the theoretical backgrounds of the plate tectonic theory and the motion of lithospheric plates and the consequence of these motions. To gain ability to make tectonic interpratation on the prepared geological maps.
