Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students parametric and nonparametric hypothesis tests commonly used in psychology.
Course Content
Null hypothesis significance test, effect size, statistical power, type one and two error, t-test (one sample, independent samples, matched samples), analysis of variance (independent groups and repeated measures), Mann-Whitney U test, Wilcoxon signed ranks test, Kruskal-Wallis H test, Friedman test, Chi-square test topics are covered in this course.
