Course Goal / Objective

The course aims to supply knowledge about the basic concepts of psychometry and improve the students' understanding of the meaning and utility of test scores and to introduce them to testing procedures.

Course Content

In this course, the concepts of measurement and evaluation, the use and historical development of measurement methods and tools in psychology, the basic concepts of psychometrics, reliability, validity, scale development, measurement of abilities, measurement of personality, ethical and legal issues in measurement and evaluation are covered.
