Course Goal / Objective
To provide detailed information about the important vegetables in the world and in Turkey
Course Content
To explain agronomic characteristics of hot (summer)and cool climate vegetable species, which are important in terms of cultivation and consumption in the world and in Turkey, to explain their ecological requirements; to discuss the production quantities, areas of growth and aquaculture problems; to give information about the growing methods, harvest, yield, post-harvest, disease and pests, gene centers of these species
