Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to teach all the details and functioning of the newspaper design process. The course aims to show many stages, especially the technical stages, that a newspaper goes through in the process of reaching the reader, within the concept of desktop publishing, and to inform students about this subject.
Course Content
Journalism Applications Course includes topics such as desktop publishing, newspaper design, visual processing and use, layout programs and their use. In the course, the process from the design of a newspaper to its delivery to the printing house is shown in detail and in a practical manner. Additionally, printing press and printing processes are also explained within the scope of the course.
