Course Goal / Objective
The purpose of the Environment-Focused Art course is to provide students with an opportunity to deeply explore the interaction between the environment and art, and to equip them with the skills to develop innovative art projects sensitive to environmental, social, and technological factors. This course aims to enable students to make artistic interventions on environmental issues through various materials and media, create art in urban and natural environments, and produce meaningful works in public spaces through interaction with the community. Additionally, it promotes sustainable art practices, aiming to enhance students' ecological awareness.
Course Content
Environment-Focused Art is a course designed to teach students how to create art projects that are sensitive to environmental, social, and technological factors. The course content includes the history of environmental art, techniques for creating art in natural and urban environments, artistic approaches to social and ecological issues, the use of technology and new media, performance and installation art, public space projects, and sustainable art practices. Students learn to apply theoretical knowledge practically, developing meaningful and impactful artistic expressions in various settings.
