Course Goal / Objective
To teach modern and contemporary artistic developments within historical perspective through trans-visual materials.
Course Content
Analysis of Contemporary Architecture Movements, their Furniture Design, their reflections through visual materials. Areas: Modernist thought, pioneers of Modernist architecture and their designs, the reflections of modernism on furniture design and Interior Design (such as pre-modern currents under the main headings of Modernism and Post Modernism, Post modernist thought, pioneers of Post modernist architecture and their designs, architectural currents developed in Post modernist movement).
