Course Goal / Objective

Our aim is to enable young people studying in different fields in accordance with the ever-advancing conditions of the age to be able to put their opinions on a subject in writing, to prepare texts for events related to special occasions, to improve their ability to speak correctly and beautifully, to eliminate their deficiencies in language and expression, and to provide them with knowledge about expression styles.

Course Content

This course focuses on the development of language and expression skills, covering spelling rules, punctuation, types of expression, expression disorders and essay writing techniques. In addition, written composition types based on emotion, thought and event and oral expression types based on discussion and interview are examined. Studies will be carried out to improve students' correct and effective speaking and writing skills through selected texts from Turkish and world literature.
