Course Goal / Objective

The main purpose of this course is to examine the utopian works of philosophers like Plato, More Campenalla, Bacon in the history of thought, examine the functions of utopian thoughts and the relation between utopias and realism, compare utopias with dystopias, research the effects of utopia on art and literature
