Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to critically examine the role of the visual in constructing ideas of “women” and how women artists deal with these structures in their works and lives, and how Western culture defines art and artists in sexist terms.
Course Content
The scope of this course; Relationships between art and gender and the visual arts since the Second World War.
