Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to examine the merger, acquisition and separation processes of companies from a legal and economic perspective. It aims to analyze the effects of merger, acquisition and separation transactions on companies, shareholders, creditors and the competitive environment within the framework of legislation related to commercial law, competition law and capital market law. Within the scope of the course, students will understand the legal processes of mergers and acquisitions and gain the ability to manage and solve risks related to these transactions. In addition, merger and acquisition transactions will be evaluated from a competition law perspective.
