Course Goal / Objective

This course aims to examine in detail the legal nature of deposit agreements, the rights and obligations of the parties, the responsibilities of banks to depositors and the role of deposits in the financial system. It is aimed to provide students with the ability to comprehensively analyze the legal regulations, judicial precedents and banking practices related to deposit agreements. In addition, this course provides a theoretical background for students who want to conduct academic research in the field of banking law, while also providing practical information to lawyers and consultants working in the banking sector.
