Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to give the basic concepts of incompressible aerodynamics, solve the basic aerodynamic problems and give basic information about the aerodynamic pre-design of vehicles
Course Content
Basic formulations in fluid mechanics and aerodynamic problems. Non-viscous and viscous flows. Wind tunnels and applications in outer body flows. Computer aided aerodynamic design. Comparison of numerical and experimental results. Streamlined designs to reduce drag. Engine cooling aerodynamics. Aerodynamic noise
