Course Goal / Objective

It is to learn plastic forming trainings on metals that are widely used in the industry.

Course Content

Macro plastic deformation of engineering materials, yielding criteria, plastic stress-strain relations and variability in drawing. The effects of strain rate, temperature, metallurgical properties, friction and lubrication on deformation of metals. Plastic forming of metals; forging, rolling, extrusion, wire and rod drawing, sheet metal molding, bending, deep drawing ete. Metal treatment.
