Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course, Geotechnical Eng. is to make designs for different transportation structures, taking into account the conditions.

Course Content

Geotechnical Eng. The use of the principles of transportation structures in the basic design and analysis: Introduction to Geotechnical Engineering, Land survey and determination of soil conditions, stresses under the foundation systems of transportation structures,

Course Precondition

To have taken courses such as Soil Mechanics 1 and 2 at undergraduate level, and geotechnical courses in master's degree.
