Course Goal / Objective

To provide the skills to use in planning, machine/equipment selection and sizing of all operational activities from the existence of a mineral deposit to the production stage.

Course Content

The operability of a mineral deposit, determination of optimum capacity and production time, optimum well location selection, determination of the optimum distance between floors, well project, sizing of main and in-vessel preparations, selection and sizing of underground transportation systems and machinery equipment, compressed air facility design.
