Course Goal / Objective
The aim of the course is to develop the critical thinking skills of the student who is exposed to the complex structure of the media, to teach the necessary analysis methods to interpret media contents and to provide information about critical writing methods suitable for media analysis.
Course Content
Definition of media literacy, its scope, basic solutions and models, important explanations with contributions, exemplary country practices, basic principles, critical media literacy, general representation problem and legal dimension.
