Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to teach students basic and advanced nail design techniques. The course aims to provide students with aesthetic and creative skills by covering topics such as nail care, prosthetic nail applications, nail art techniques and the use of professional materials.
Course Content
Nail Anatomy and Structure, Nail structure, healthy nail characteristics and care methods. Manicure and Pedicure Techniques, Classical and modern manicure-pedicure applications. Prosthetic Nail Applications, Acrylic, gel and dip powder techniques. Nail Art Techniques, Hand painting, stone decorations, foil and sticker applications. Airbrush and 3D Nail Art, Professional nail art applications and advanced techniques. Nail Configuration and Shaping, Nail extension, shaping and correction processes. Nail Health and Hygiene, nail diseases, hygiene rules and healthy practices. Permanent Nail Polish and Gel Systems, Durable nail painting techniques and application steps. Color and Composition in Nail Design, Color theory, design combinations and special designs according to customer demands. Trends and Innovations in Nail Design, Examination of current nail art fashion and new techniques.
