Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to teach transgenic animal technologies, methods of obtaining transgenic animals and in vivo modeling for experimental studies.

Course Content

Transgenic animal production, products and technologies, embryology, superovulation, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, microinjection, somatic cell transfer (cloning), retrovirus mediated gene transfer, embryonic stem cell mediated gene transfer, next generation gene editing tools and their uses, transgenic animal by research topic design (selection of bovine, ovine, poultry, laboratory animals).
