Course Goal / Objective

Raising awareness and effectiveness on the necessity of passing sectoral activities through the Environmental Risk Assessment process in line with sustainable development goals

Course Content

The scope and stages of risk assessment, which is included in the decision-making process for physical investments related to environmental factors and also included in the scope of impact assessment studies and used as a tool in this direction. Definition of hazard, risk, impact, environmental risk and environmental impact concepts. In addition to the assessment of individual or social risks, identification of risks that cause direct or indirect effects on natural environmental factors and methods used in the assessment and management of these risks, sample applications.
