Course Goal / Objective
The aim of this course is to understand, with the help of basic physics and astronomy knowledge, the accretion mechanism, which is known to make a significant contribution to the total radiation of such systems, focusing especially on close binary systems containing compact objects and celestial bodies such as Active Galactic Nuclei.
Course Content
It includes an X-ray binary system containing a tight object (white dwarf, neutron star or black hole) and the accretion mechanism that is the source of radiated energy in an Active Galactic Nucleus.
