Course Goal / Objective
The course aims to teach the mechanical properties of the material, to distinguish between the static and dynamic properties, to understand the dynamic properties, to learn the test methods, and as a result, to gain the ability to choose the right material in production.
Course Content
Stress and strain concepts. Tensile test, yield and tensile strengths. Ductility, hardness and toughness. Static and dynamic properties. Fatigue and creep. Destructive and non-destructive testing methods. Physical properties.
