Course Goal / Objective
The general aim of this course is to enable students to understand the creation of structural axis systems; to recognize steel structural elements such as steel columns, steel beams, steel purlins, steel braces, and steel trusses, as well as steel connections; to comprehend the relevant commands; and to grasp the step-by-step construction of these elements. Additionally, it aims to provide an understanding of the modeling and analysis of steel structures and bridges using computer-aided software.
Course Content
This course encompasses the detailed introduction of steel structural elements and the examination of various connection details of these elements, as well as the modeling of steel structures formed by assembling these elements with connections and their analysis in computer environment using commands.
