Course Goal / Objective
This course aims to introduce the methods and principles of soil physical analysis. The necessity and uses of soil physical analysis, analysis and assessment of the analyzes are the main objectives of the course.
Course Content
Determination of the phase rates in soils, soil-water characteristics, water retention characteristics under different pressure fragments ranged from saturation to wilting point moisture, saturated and unsaturated hydraulic conductivity, determination and evaluation of soil infiltration, properties of tensiometers and use of tensiometers in measuring soil moisture.
