Course Goal / Objective
It provides fundamental cognitive and perceptual competencies in the surgical evaluation of patients pre-prosthetic treatment and the surgical procedures performed, the evaluation of patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, the diagnosis and treatment of odontogenic infections, prophylactic antibiotic applications, endodontic surgery, biopsy techniques, and the surgery of cysts and tumors.
Course Content
This lesson includes; preprosthetic surgery, management of the patients undergoing chemotherapy and radiotherapy, treatment principles of odontogenic infections, bacterial endocarditis and wound prophylaxis, endodontic surgery, principles of differential diagnosis and biopsy, surgical treatment of odontogenic cysts and tumors.
