Course Goal / Objective

Teach how to grow temperate zone fruits in tropics and subtropics, the growing techniques and to discuss the advantages and disadvantages of growing temperate zone fruits in these areas.

Course Content

The contents of this course include subjects such as the distribution of fruit trees in the tropic and subtropic regions; temperate zone fruit growing in these regions and its limitations; soil, climate and water request of stone fruit,nuts, pome fruits,berrys in these climatical conditions; prunning shape, blooming and fruit set characteristics; diseases and disorders that may arise.
