Course Goal / Objective
To teach the causes and consequences of climate change and the measures to be taken against adverse effects.
Course Content
TClimate and its factors, greenhouse effect, greenhouse gases, determination of greenhouse gas emissions, carbon cycle, prediction of climate change, climate models, effects of climate change (sea level rise, temperature increases, biodiversity), effects on sectors (agriculture, forestry, health, energy, tourism), political dimension of climate change, IPCC, Climate change prevention and adaptation methods.
