Course Goal / Objective

To comprehend occupational safety in the processes from fabric to shipment in the apparel industry

Course Content

Processes from fabric to shipment in the apparel industry. Analysis of ambient conditions in production. Energy inputs used in processes. Workbench used in units supporting production (lathe, hydraulic press, cutting machines) and equipment (electroscissors, forklift etc.) precautions to be taken. Laying, cutting, sewing machines and sewing machines. Risks and security measures. Worker health and occupational diseases in ready-made clothing. Ergonomic measures to be taken. Measures to be taken in occupational diseases. in ready-to-wear the chemicals used, the effects of the chemicals used, the health problems they cause and measures to be taken. In the production process, chemical treatment, ironing-press etc. situation induced fires. Measures to be taken for fires that may occur in the production process
