Course Goal / Objective
To teach the working principles and device technologies of medical imaging devices with all the details.
Course Content
Introduction to medical imaging devices, Working principles of imaging devices, X-rays, X-ray generators and technology, Radiography and detectors, Computed tomography devices and equipment, PET-CT and SPECT/CT devices and equipment, Scintigraphy (Gamma camera) devices and equipment, Ultrasonography devices, USG basic principles, Magnetic resonance imaging devices and equipment, Medical microscopes, Endoscopy devices and technology, OCT eye tomography devices, EMG (Electromyography) Devices, Audiometer devices and working principles.
