Course Goal / Objective
Applying the principles of developmental psychology in all contexts, identifying changes in the life cycle, and defining human development according to stages in biological, cognitive and psychosocial areas.
Course Content
The course content includes the following topics: Describing and predicting developmental changes through theories of human behavior and current research. Principles of developmental psychology, psychological and social needs of humans, stages of development, theories of Piaget, Vygotsky and information processes, physical and cognitive development, social and character development, physical, sensory and perceptual development in infants.
