Course Goal / Objective

It is aimed to teach the basic production methods in chemical metallurgy, ore preparation, metal production and enrichment, metallurgy thermodynamics and kinetics.

Course Content

Definition, Fundamental and Concepts of Chemical Metallurgy, Metallurgical Ore Preparation Methods, Minerals, Ores, Powder and Bulk Raw materials and Investigation of Physical and Chemical Properties of These Materials, Thermodynamic and Balance Equations on Metallurgy, Physical and Chemical Reactions, Extractive Metallurgy, Fundamentals of Pyrometallurgy, Hydrometallurgy and Electrometallurgy
