Course Goal / Objective

Learning of measurement methods in experimental physiological studies

Course Content

Overview of Physiological Measurements; Temparature measurements; Cardiology: Blood Pressure- Direct and indirect measurements of blood pressure; Cardiology: Hemodynamics ; Intraventricular pressure measurements; Blood flow measurements; Phonocardiography: Recording of Heart Sounds and Murmurs; Measuring Glomerular Filtration Rate in experimental animals; Neurology: Central Nervous System; Neurology: Peripheral Nerves and Muscles ; Physiologic Measures in Otology and Audiology; Measurements in Pulmonology; Measurements of physiologic gases in blood; Data Processing, Analysis, and Statistics
