Course Goal / Objective

To train physicians who understand the biological, psychological and social components of women's health, recognize and manage common women's and reproductive health problems, follow new information and technology, have analytical and critical thinking skills, and respect ethical rules

Course Content

The duration of the Gynecology and Obstetrics internship is 6 weeks. - Clinical working hours and shift working hours are arranged together with the assistant and specialist of the unit they work. - From the moment the patient is admitted to the clinic, taking the anamnesis, performing a physical examination and preparing the file under the supervision of the assistant of the unit; making laboratory requests, following up and processing the results into the file; presenting the patient to the chief assistant during the visits and getting the necessary recommendations; asking for consultation; follow-up of the patient during the hospitalization (from vital signs to interventions); presentation of the patient at the meetings and preparation for the council, if necessary; All kinds of procedures performed while being discharged are carried out by the intern doctor under the supervision and official responsibility of the relevant assistant, service assistant, senior assistant, specialist of the unit and/or faculty member. - Interns, under the responsibility of the assistant on duty, carry out the evaluation and monitoring of the patients and accompany the interventions. - Intern doctors work in the Intensive Care Unit and the Delivery Room under the supervision of senior and junior assistants on duty.
