Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to students; It is to explain the importance of our underwater history and archeology heritage as well as the technological developments of our country, where the sea trade is intensely experienced and the historical process can be followed in such a rich way, as it has three coasts, which are the most effective elements that complement the above-ground richness of Anatolian lands.

Course Content

The content of this course includes terminology used in underwater archeology, history of underwater archeology, maritime trade and maritime trade routes, ancient ships and anchor types, ancient harbors, techniques and materials used in underwater excavations, restoration and conservation, measurement and documentation methods, photography and video shooting. forms deep sea research methods.
