Course Goal / Objective
To learn Turkey's tourism capacity and the competence of this sector in the world. To get to know Turkey's underwater tourism and its general structure. Getting information about diving centers and schools. Organizing a one-week practical technical trip to diving centers in the Aegean Region.
Course Content
Tourism Structure of Turkey (Geographical structure, seas and lakes, tourism potential, tourism revenues, place of Turkey's tourism in the world, ministry practices), Underwater (diving) Tourism (World underwater tourism, Turkey underwater tourism), Diving Centers and Schools (General operation and structural situation, inspection, qualifications, legal legislation, employees), Diving Boats (Boat types and features, equipment and requirements), Diving systems (Examination of diving systems such as CMAS, PADI, NAUI etc.), Turkish Underwater Sports Federation (TSSF) ( General operation and authorization mechanism), Diving Zones (areas prohibited for diving, areas free for diving, diving permit procedures and practices)
