Course Goal / Objective

It identifies pollutants in the seawater environment and detects their effects. Can determine and interpret the quality of sea water. Gains knowledge on the improvement and development of sea water.

Course Content

LO01 Pipe types used in sea discharge. learn discharge line laying methods, pumping heights.
LO02 Learns determining the dimensions and projecting of the emitters located between the structures, making hydraulic calculations and pipe hydraulics regarding marine construction.
LO03 Learns the marine environment and its components, marine coastal information, marine currents and sea water properties regarding marine discharge.
LO04 Can make dilution calculations in deep discharge systems into the sea by using sea discharge and emitters of the discharge system and information about the sea.
