Course Goal / Objective

To create awareness about microorganisms and organisms studied within the scope of microbiology. To emphasize the importance of signal transmission by showing the relationships of these organisms with other organisms and the environment. To increase the level of knowledge about microorganism metabolism and reproduction. To provide general information about diseases caused by microorganisms and molecular methods used in diagnosis.

Course Content

Diseases caused by microorganisms and ways to combat them. Molecular methods used in microbiological diagnosis.
