Course Goal / Objective

Learning the structure and functions of proteins, carbohydrates, lipids, nucleic acids and hormones in our body

Course Content

Biomolecules and cells, water, pH, classification and general reactions of carbohydrates, structure and classification of lipids, biosynthesis of lipids, degradation of lipids, structures and classification of amino acids, metabolism of amino acids, structure-function relationships of proteins, nucleic acids.
