Course Goal / Objective
To present a new interpretation by making people aware of the use of counterpoint in musical composition.
Course Content
Adaptation of previous studies to four and more voice counterpoint. Examples of the use of counterpoint in musical composition. Analysis of missa, chanson and other polyphonic genres. Understanding of the ways counterpoint was applied in the 20th century.
