Course Goal / Objective
The objective of this course is to provide students with knowledge about the management of viral epidemics, teach effective quarantine practices, and help them understand the long-term social, economic, and health impacts of epidemics. It also aims to equip students with the ability to develop epidemic management strategies at both national and international levels.
Course Content
This course covers how viral epidemics are managed, quarantine procedures implemented to prevent the spread of diseases, and national/international health management policies. It also analyzes the dynamics of various viral pathogens, strategies before, during, and after an epidemic, and the social and economic impacts after an outbreak.
