Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to teach students the fundamental principles of oncolytic virotherapy, help them understand the effects of viruses on cancer cells, and raise awareness of potential future applications.

Course Content

This course explores how oncolytic viruses are used in cancer treatment, their mechanisms, and clinical applications in the light of biotechnological advancements. It focuses on the potential of genetically engineered viruses to selectively target cancer cells, their interactions with the immune system, and current clinical trials.
