Course Goal / Objective
The goal of this course is to introduce students to the key concepts of summer sports tourism, including its major destinations, historical development, economic impacts, and sustainability approaches. The course will also provide students with knowledge about destination management and marketing strategies specific to summer sports tourism.

• Definition and scope of summer sports tourism • Popular summer sports: Sailing, mountaineering, water sports, tennis, etc. • Historical development of summer sports tourism • Destination management in summer sports tourism • Marketing strategies in summer sports tourism • Sustainable tourism in summer sports • Economic and social impacts of summer sports
