Course Goal / Objective

The aim of this course is to provide students with information about the organization of lymphatic circulation, its relationship with the immune system, and its clinical importance by examining the functional anatomy of the lymphatic system in detail. In addition, it is aimed to explain the structural features related to the function of the lymphatic system in cancer metastasis within the framework of clinical approaches to anatomy.

Course Content

The course includes the structure and functions of lymphoid organs such as lymphatic vessels, lymph nodes, spleen, thymus, the relationship of the lymphatic circulation with the immune system, and structural features related to the function of the lymphatic system in cancer metastasis.

There are no prerequisites for the course.
