Course Goal / Objective
The student is expected to follow fashion trends and conduct model analyses suitable for the season and target audience, and to develop a collection with alternative designs based on specified themes. The student should demonstrate the ability to use diverse materials, methods, and techniques in their designs, apply various texture and color combinations, and present their work to a jury through creative and well-prepared presentation boards.
Course Content
The student, having acquired knowledge in figure drawing, modeling, and materials, is expected to design original and creative garment collections for women’s, men’s, and children’s wear, in accordance with fashion trends and specified themes. The student should be able to express the collection through form, line, texture, and various coloring techniques, and present the work in carefully prepared portfolio boards. This process aims to develop a comprehensive understanding of collection design.
Course Precondition
There is no formal prerequisite for this course. However, it is expected that students enrolling in this course have successfully completed the course 'Garment Design I'
