Course Goal / Objective
To be informed about complementary and alternative treatment methods in addiction treatment and to evaluate the role of these methods in the treatment process.
Course Content
Course Content Introduction to complementary and alternative treatment systems, complementary and alternative treatment systems and ethical principles in addiction, conscious awareness, transcendental meditation, clinical hypnosis, yoga, acupuncture, massage, biofield energy, transcranial magnetic stimulation, internal life energy work, biofeedback, guided imagery, music therapy and energy therapy, evidence-based herbal and nutritional treatments in addiction.
