Course Goal / Objective
To gain knowledge about addiction processes in special populations and to evaluate treatment approaches specific to these populations.
Course Content
Alcohol and substance use in women, addiction in adolescents, addiction in health workers, addiction in the elderly, addiction in children living on the streets, crime, prison and substance use, addiction in homeless adults, children of addicted parents, addiction in minorities, alcohol and substance use in pregnant women, addiction in sex workers, addiction in gays and lesbians, HIV-AIDS and addiction
